The Art of Bible Journaling
March 2020: Ann Gillaspie
I am a child of our creative God; made in His image as a creative being. We are each endowed with that holy creativity! You may be a creative cook, teacher, storyteller, engineer, artist, nurse, etc. God has given each of us a desire and talent to serve Him. Therefore, whatever you do, do it to the glory of God.
February 2020: Susan & Reagan Johnson
Hello everyone, my name is Susan Johnson. My daughter, Reagan (10 years old) and I are the artists of the month. As a mother, I really want to pass along my passion for studying the Word to my kids. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.
January 2020: Jade Sibbles
Hi there, I am Jade Sibblies. I am from Kingston, Jamaica. I am a mom to a five-year-old boy named Kyson, whose superpower is Autism. I am a child of God, a single Autism mom, a daughter, a chef, a student (I am currently doing my Bachelor’s in Theology) and a crafter (I love making things with my hands).
December 2019: Erika Radke
Art has been a passion of mine since I was a child. Teaching art has also become a labor of love. I have taught ceramics classes at an art center for over 10 years, and also lead a Bible Journaling group at my church. Making art is trickier these days, because I have three young kids, but is even more rewarding, when I get the chance.
November 2019: Peggy Thibodeau
I am passionate about the Bible because it truly changed my life. What an incredible and precious gift our Lord has given us in the living word! However, I came to art later than most artists, in my late 30’s. After more than a decade of being an artist, I discovered Bible journaling. I began making art in my Bible.
October 2019: Katie Helmreich
Stories are incredible. A good narrative knits together snippets of characters’ lives to reveal purpose, understanding, relationships, and love. Shared stories are the highlight of conversations with family and friends! They define us. Little anecdotes reveal who we are and how we’re connected.
